Flow and pressure
Measured at the outlet, not guessed. A rain head with too little behind it is a drizzle from a very expensive fitting.
Plumbing
A big rain head needs real flow behind it, and a villa on a roof tank often does not have any. Checking that before you buy is the difference between a shower you love and an expensive drizzle.
Start Here
The points where fitting a new one beats repairing the old one.
Water getting behind the wall
A valve leaking inside the wall rather than at the face. Once that is confirmed, the wall is open anyway and a new valve makes sense.
Cartridges no longer available
Every repair is an improvisation lasting months. New shower installation Dubai costs less than three of those visits.
Manual mixer that scalds
A manual valve does not hold temperature when somebody flushes a toilet. A thermostatic one does, and it is the upgrade people notice most.
You want a rain head or a system
Rain shower installation Dubai and shower system installation Dubai are worth doing properly, and both depend on the pressure you have.
Bathroom being renovated
Bathroom shower installation Dubai is far cheaper while the walls are open, and it is the only time the valve position can move.
Overview
Fitting the valve, the outlets and everything between. Professional shower installation Dubai starts with a pressure reading rather than a catalogue.
Mixers and valves
Shower mixer installation Dubai for thermostatic and manual valves, exposed on the wall or concealed behind it.
Heads and outlets
Shower fixture installation Dubai for rain heads, handsets, rails and body jets, sized to the flow you actually have.
Complete systems
New shower installation Dubai where valve, outlets and pipework all change together, usually during a renovation.
Homes and businesses
Home shower installation Dubai for flats and villas, and the same work in hotels, gyms and staff accommodation.
What We Work On
Six things, and the first one decides whether the rest is worth doing.
Flow and pressure
Measured at the outlet, not guessed. A rain head with too little behind it is a drizzle from a very expensive fitting.
Wall construction
A concealed valve needs depth behind the tiles. Block can be chased, a thin stud wall sometimes cannot take one at all.
Access to the valve
Every concealed valve needs a way to reach its cartridge later. A tiled wall with no access is a repair that starts with a grinder.
Hot supply
Where the hot comes from and how far away. A long run means a wait for hot water that no valve can shorten.
Waste and fall
A shower drains slowly if the waste has no fall. On a level bathroom floor that has to be solved before tiling, not after.
Outlet heights
Rain head, handset and valve positions set to the people using it rather than to whatever the last installer chose.
Scope
The same job on a straight swap or a full system.
Measure the pressure
Before anything is ordered. It decides whether a rain head will work, whether a pump is needed, and what you should buy.
Agree positions
Valve, head and handset heights marked on the wall and agreed with you, because they are permanent once tiled.
Remove the old unit
Old mixer and outlets out and taken away. Anything already leaking behind the wall gets dealt with now.
Fit and pressure test
Valve set at the right depth, pipework connected, then the whole thing held under pressure before a tile goes back.
Provide access
A face plate or a panel that lets the cartridge be changed later without breaking anything.
Run and set
Temperature limit set, outlets balanced, and the shower run for several minutes with the room below checked.
Not included
Said before the visit, not after
How It Works
Five steps, and the first one happens before you spend anything.
Pressure check and advice
A short visit that tells you which showers will actually work in your property. It is the most useful thing on this page.
Agree the specification
Exposed or concealed, thermostatic or manual, and where each outlet sits. All decided before ordering.
Strip out and prepare
Old unit removed, pipework checked, and anything wet behind the wall dealt with while it is open.
Install and test
Valve set, connected and held under pressure. Nothing is closed up until the gauge has held.
Commission
Temperature limit set, outlets balanced, run for several minutes and the room below checked afterwards.
The Decision
Pressure decides most of this, and it is better to know now.
| What you have | What it needs | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Good pressure, tiles staying | Exposed mixer swap | Straightforward. Fits the existing pipe centres and nothing is chased into the wall. |
| Good pressure, bathroom being retiled | Concealed valve | The only time a concealed valve is easy to fit, and it is the cleanest look. |
| Low pressure, want a rain head | Pump first | A large head needs flow. Without it the shower is worse than what you had. |
| Low pressure, no pump possible | Smaller head | A concentrated handset feels far better on low flow than a big rain plate does. |
| Old valve dripping only | Repair it | A cartridge costs a fraction of a new installation, and we will say so. |
If the old valve simply drips, shower repair Dubai is the cheaper answer. If the pressure is the problem, that is water pump repair Dubai.
Why TRAXICO
Most disappointing showers were decided before anybody picked up a tool.
We measure the pressure first
A shower installer Dubai homeowners recommend is one who told them a rain head would not work before they bought it.
Access panels, always
Every concealed valve gets a way to reach the cartridge. Most shower installation contractor Dubai jobs tile straight over it.
Pressure tested before tiling
The pipework is held on a gauge before anything closes. A leak found afterwards costs a wall.
Temperature limit set
On a thermostatic valve this takes two minutes and it is the difference between safe and scalding.
Heights agreed with you
Marked on the wall before anything is fixed, because a rain head set for the wrong person is permanent once tiled.
We say when to repair
A dripping valve with an available cartridge is a repair, not an installation, and you will hear that first.
Worth Knowing
Three things worth knowing before you buy a shower.
01 / 03
A rain head works by delivering a lot of water gently over a wide area. That takes real flow behind it.
Most Dubai villas run on a roof tank with a booster pump. The pressure that gives you is fine for a handset and often not enough for a two hundred millimetre rain plate, which then drips rather than rains.
The fix is either a pump sized for the shower or a smaller, more concentrated head. Both work. Buying the big head first and finding out afterwards does not.
Measuring takes ten minutes and it is the single most useful thing anybody can do before ordering.
02 / 03
A manual mixer sets a ratio of hot to cold. A thermostatic one sets a temperature and holds it.
The difference shows the moment somebody flushes a toilet or runs a kitchen tap. On a manual valve the cold drops away and the shower goes hot. On a thermostatic valve it adjusts and nothing changes.
In a family home with more than one bathroom, that is the upgrade people notice most, and it is also the safer one with children in the house.
03 / 03
A concealed valve looks clean because everything except the handle is buried in the wall.
Inside it is a cartridge, and cartridges wear. When yours does, somebody has to reach it. If the installer tiled straight over the body with no way in, that repair starts by cutting tiles off a finished wall.
A proper installation leaves either a removable face plate large enough to work through, or a panel in the wall behind. It costs nothing at the time and it saves a bathroom later.

Questions
An exposed mixer on the existing pipe centres is a couple of hours. A concealed valve or a full system means chasing walls and coordinating with a tiler, which is a different job entirely.
It depends on your flow, not on the shower. We measure it before you order. If the pressure is not there, a pump or a smaller concentrated head are both better answers than an expensive drizzle.
Thermostatic, if the budget allows. It holds temperature when somebody flushes a toilet or runs a tap elsewhere, which a manual valve cannot do.
Yes. The cartridge inside a concealed valve will need changing one day, and without access that repair starts by cutting tiles off a finished wall. We will not tile over one.
If it is an exposed mixer on the existing pipe centres, yes. Anything concealed or in a new position means opening the wall, and the tiling is a separate trade.
A like for like exposed swap is a couple of hours. A concealed valve is a day of plumbing plus the tiler afterwards. A full system during a renovation is staged with the other trades.
Yes, and several units in one attendance. We hold the common cartridges for the fittings you use so future repairs are one visit.
We work across the whole city. Marina, JLT, JVC, Downtown, Business Bay, Mirdif, Al Barsha and Deira are all normal working areas.
