Water pump repair Dubai and the vessel that lost its air
This is the fault behind more replaced pumps than any other.
The blue or red tank next to the pump is not a water tank. It holds air behind a rubber bag. The air is what keeps the pressure steady between the pump starting and stopping.
Air leaks out slowly over years. When it is gone the pump has nothing to cushion it, so it reaches its cut out pressure instantly, stops, then starts again the moment you open a tap. That is the clicking.
You can check it. Turn the pump off, open a tap to drop the pressure, then press the valve cap on top of the tank. Air should hiss out. Water means the bag has split and the tank needs changing. Nothing at all means the air is gone.
Left alone, the constant starting burns the switch contacts and cooks the motor. The pump then fails for real, and it gets replaced for a fault that was never in it.
