Terms & Conditions
How we quote, what happens when a job turns out to be bigger than expected, what our work is covered for, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Last updated August 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and TRAXICO Technical Services LLC, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at Astral Space Business Center, Office R23, Ground Floor, Trade Center First, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
They apply when you ask us to carry out work. Where we have given you a written quotation, that quotation and these terms are read together, and where the two disagree the quotation wins because it was written for your job.
2. Quotations
We quote after somebody has looked at the work, not before. A price given over the phone without a survey is an estimate and we will say so when we give it.
A written quotation states the scope, the price and what is excluded. Work begins once you have accepted it. Nothing is charged for that is not in the quotation unless you have agreed to it separately.
Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Prices can move if material costs move, which is why that period is there.
3. When the job turns out to be bigger
Occasionally a technician opens something up and finds more than the quotation covered. Old pipework in poor condition, waterproofing that was never done, or a fault behind the one we came for.
When that happens you are told at the time, with what it means and what it costs. Work on the additional item does not start until you agree to it. We do not add items to an invoice that you first hear about when the invoice arrives.
4. Access and site conditions
You will need to give our technicians safe access at the agreed time, and where the building requires a permit, a lift booking or contractor documents you will need to tell us so we can arrange them in advance.
Please move or cover anything valuable in the working area before we arrive. We sheet up and protect as a matter of course, but a room cleared of ornaments is a room nothing happens to.
If we attend at the agreed time and cannot get in, or the work cannot proceed for a reason on your side, we may charge for the visit. If that applies to your job it is stated on your quotation.
5. Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance falls due, are stated on your quotation or invoice. They vary with the size of the job, which is why they are set there rather than here.
Where materials are being bought specifically for your job, a deposit covering them is normal and will be shown separately.
6. Our work
We carry out work with reasonable skill and care, using technicians competent for the trade involved, and we stand behind what we do.
The warranty period on labour is stated on your invoice. Parts and equipment carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, which is between you and them, so keep the paperwork we hand over.
A warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by someone else working on the same installation afterwards, misuse, or a failure caused by a problem we identified and you asked us not to fix.
7. Things outside our control
Some faults sit outside the property. A shared riser, a building’s chilled water supply, a district cooling problem or an incoming utility issue belongs to the building or the authority rather than to you or to us.
Where we find that, we will tell you and put it in writing if you need something to take to your management company. We cannot repair what we are not permitted to touch.
8. Cancelling or rescheduling
Plans change and we would rather you told us than left us on the doorstep. Notice periods and any charge for late cancellation are set out in our cancellation and refund policy and on your quotation.
9. If something goes wrong
Tell us first, and quickly. Almost every complaint we have ever had was solvable on a return visit, and the ones that were not usually became that way through time passing.
Phone or email using the details at the bottom of this page. We will look at it, and where the fault is ours we will put it right at our cost.
10. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage we cause through our own negligence, and we carry insurance for it.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects we did not cause, for consequential loss such as lost business or spoiled goods, or for damage arising because a recommendation we made in writing was declined.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under UAE law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes fall to the courts of Dubai.
12. Changes to these terms
We update this page when the way we work changes, and the date at the top moves with it. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force when you accepted the quotation.
